Job summary

South Oxford Management LLC in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional. You will perform routine work orders, handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, and ensure apartments are market-ready.

This on-site, full-time role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• On-site five days a week; not remote or hybrid.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule incl. weekends/holidays.
• Able to walk the property, stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine work orders at the community, including appliance repair and on-call tickets.
• Repair and maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct inspections.
• Ensure resident service requests are completed promptly and apartments are market-ready.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate with vendors.
