Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep and repairs at our Washington properties. Under the Community Manager’s supervision, you’ll handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks.

You’ll respond to tenant requests, conduct inspections, and assist with larger renovations as needed. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and 2+ years of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3–4 years of experience can offset minimum education.
• 2 years of maintenance experience required.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance.
• Experience in commercial or multi-unit residential properties desirable.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Live within 20 miles of the property and be willing to be on-call 24/7.
• Familiarity with OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing leaky faucets.
• Performing minor repairs such as drywall patching, painting, and carpentry work.
• Maintaining the property’s grounds, including lawn care, snow removal and cleaning of common areas.
• Responding to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance issues.
• Conducting regular inspections and identifying potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
• Assisting with major repairs or renovations as needed.
