Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential maintenance across a garden-style property, ensuring clean, safe and functional living spaces. The role includes completing work orders, make-ready tasks, inventory management, and grounds upkeep within established policies.

The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with certifications in EPA refrigerants and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the defect and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, conducts pre-move-out inspections, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and ensures tasks are completed.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to record service requests for tracking.
• Supports grounds and common areas maintenance through cleaning, debris removal, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
