Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure building systems, grounds, and amenities meet company standards. You will diagnose defects, perform maintenance, and prepare units for new residents on a Monday-Friday schedule with on-call rotation.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver's license for property access. The position offers competitive pay ($22.00–$24.00 hourly) and robust benefits, with potential bonuses depending on

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & 2 or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications must be current and valid.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and materials.
• Accesses and obtains materials from the property maintenance department, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies for reorders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, debris removal, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacing and using tools/materials efficiently.
