Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical systems providing heat and hot water for residential properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and unit turnover duties while coordinating with the Site Manager.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and regular inspection of common areas. We offer medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) and paid leave, with an on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English (oral/written).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to TMAM.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and performing manual tasks.
• Awareness of safety procedures and building maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and continuous hot water.
• Inspect and repair electrical and mechanical systems; check circuit breakers, switches, relays, and filters for faults.
• Perform unit turnover duties for vacated apartments, including furniture removal.
• Report health or safety issues to the Site Manager promptly.
• Weekly inspection of buildings/grounds; document deficiencies and follow up.
• Provide housekeeping for halls, stairways, and public areas; clean fixtures and mail areas.
• Clean washers/dryers in laundry rooms regularly.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; deliver appliances to units as needed.
• Attend mandatory meetings and use a vehicle for site errands.
