Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units to support leasing.

You’ll also handle inventory, documentation, and safety compliance as part of a collaborative on-site team. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, area cleaning, and assisting in cost-control by repairing instead of replacing where possible.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications
• All state and local certifications as required for the role
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance per policies and code requirements
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors
• Access materials and track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor for reordering
• Document service requests accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in groundskeeping and common areas maintenance, including cleaning and painting as needed
• Support cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible
