Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and make-ready work to ensure property standards across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, completing work orders, maintaining inventory, documenting tasks, and collaborating with vendors. The role requires CPO and EPA certifications, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with safety policies; base pay is hourly with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• CPO and EPA certifications required (Type 1 & II or Universal)
• Valid driver’s license required; state/local licenses as applicable

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Executes the make-ready process for vacant homes including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials: tracks inventory, orders replacements, returns surplus items as needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests and keeps records up to date.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Aims to fix rather than replace parts to control costs and reduce waste.
