Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Portland to address apartment and property maintenance duties and uphold top-tier customer service and curb appeal. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds tasks under supervision, with a focus on safety and timely work orders.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in property management or related field, and general maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, golf-cart, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
