Job summary

Northland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Saddleworth Green, a 480-unit community in Ocala, FL. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, pool maintenance, and housekeeping tasks, plus apartment turnovers for move-ins.

On-call duties include nights and weekends to ensure resident satisfaction. Candidates should bring hands-on maintenance skills, strong communication, and the ability to work with staff, residents, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Own hand tools; power tools provided.
• Travel may be required; on-call including nights & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and work orders (HVAC, electrical, pool, plumbing, carpentry, painting, housekeeping).
• Complete apartment turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner.
• Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call including nights and weekends.
