Job summary

Northland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Barcelona Jupiter community in Jupiter, FL. You will handle maintenance requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping, and perform apartment turn-overs for move-ins with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

As part of the maintenance team, you will deliver high levels of resident service, coordinate with vendors, and may respond to after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
• All maintenance employees are required to have their own hand tools to carry out job functions.
• Travel may be required to assist other properties or attend training classes.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts as part of on-call responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests and work orders including HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items.
• Complete apartment turn-overs for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner.
• Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed, including nights and weekends.
