Job summary

Community Holdings seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs across plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance. The role includes exterior and grounds upkeep, landscaping, and preparing units for move-in.

Candidates should have 2+ years in maintenance/handyman work, proficiency with power/tools, and a valid driver's license. On-call after-hours emergencies are required as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade certificates or licensures are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance/handyman roles.
• Experience with power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as lawn mowers.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Inspect exterior/common areas for curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Rake, sweep, and pressure wash walkways, driveways, patios, and entryways.
• Maintain landscaping: weeding, trimming hedges, watering plants.
• Assist with unit turnovers and prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance and on-call rotation.
• Inspect work by contractors or vendors and ensure safety compliance.
