Sherman Associates is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support two-building portfolio in the Twin Cities. You will perform diverse maintenance tasks and respond to resident requests while upholding safety and quality standards.

This on-site role operates Monday–Friday, with occasional evening/weekend on-call shifts and must align with Sherman’s mission. Based in Saint Paul, MN, the Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and manage preventive maintenance across residential real estate assets,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with apprenticeship or maintenance experience.
• 1–4 years in maintenance or related carpentry/construction.
• Willingness to obtain boiler license or CPO if applicable.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting.
• Respond to work orders within 24 hours.
• Prepare vacated units within 24 hours.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for buildings/equipment.
• Diagnose problems and replace parts; test and adjust.
• Maintain safety and keep stock of supplies.
