Job summary

Real Estate Equities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Saint Paul, MN. This full-time position involves hands-on maintenance, strong resident service, and collaboration with the on-site staff.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to maintain property standards. A $1,000 hiring bonus is offered, with 10 holidays and 16 PTO days, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to travel to on-call properties and pick up supplies as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations
• Be part of an effective on-site team
• Maintain daily service request system and complete service requests
• Perform follow up calls on service requests as necessary
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and complete preventive maintenance
• Maintain physical appearance of the community
• Assist with after-hours emergency on-call rotation as scheduled
• Repair and replace appliances
• Maintain MSDS and follow safety procedures
• Maintain maintenance inventory
• Keep shop, storage, and mechanical rooms organized and safe
• Manage keys and apartment history records
• Coordinate snow removal and lawn care with contractors
• Monitor HVAC equipment and pools as applicable
• Work in extreme weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
