Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Orange Park, FL to uphold the physical condition of our community and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete service requests promptly to maintain high standards.

You will work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, while following safety policies and contributing to a positive resident experience. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing or carpentry disciplines.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Must have an active and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Ensure the company safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
