Job summary

Cambridge Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and upkeep apartment communities under supervision. You will operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies while building strong relationships with residents and staff.

The role requires experience in electrical/plumbing work, making ready units, and performing repairs. Applicants should be ready for on-call shifts; a valid driver's license is beneficial in the Oregon market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; CAMT and EPA certifications are a plus.
• 6 months minimum maintenance experience required in residential/community settings.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred but not required.
• EPA Type I, II, or Universal certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety or maintenance issues and report or fix them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and make-ready of vacant apartments.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
• On-call duties and snow removal as applicable.
