Job summary

WinnCompanies is looking for a dependable and customer service–oriented Maintenance Technician II to join our team at The Knolls Apartments, a 260-unit LIHTC property in Orange, CA. You will perform maintenance in rental units, common areas, office, grounds and parking lots, handling repair tasks across appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.

The position offers a pay range of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call availability after hours for urgent

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential or affordable housing maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and basic repairs.
Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to meet driving record standards.
Experience with REAC and INSPIRE.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

Repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
Complete assigned service requests and repairs per procedures.
Assist in preparing vacant apartments for turn‑ready status per standards.
Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management.
Be available for on‑call activity during off hours for emergencies.
