WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Browns Woods Apartments, a 150-unit mixed-use community in Browns Mills, NJ. The role covers maintenance in rental units, common areas, office, grounds and parking lots to keep them market-ready.

The job requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus on-call availability every two weeks. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance, building and safety inspections, and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies according to a pre-determined schedule.
