Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full‑time role offers 40 hours per week with a base pay range of $45,500 to $64,500 per year.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance tasks to keep apartments and common areas in excellent condition. The position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work an on‑call rotation, and strong customer service as you coordinate with residents and team

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• On‑call rotation availability.
• Ability to read and follow policies and procedures including safety policies.
• Knowledge of PPE and proper chemical handling.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs and operation sequences.
• Knowledge of paint types and basic painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring and related areas.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner and adheres to standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent‑ready promptly.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering and welding per standards.
