Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain garden-style properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role includes diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and supporting make-ready tasks for new residents.

Responsibilities cover preventive maintenance, inventory handling, and documentation, with a schedule Monday–Friday plus on-call rotations. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
