Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain property buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety standards across a 336-unit garden-style community with schedule from 8am-5pm, plus rotating on-call shifts.

Experience with preventative maintenance and on-site responsibilities is essential. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on-site, with strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance following safety standards and code requirements.
Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating a punch list.
Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage and notifies when re-orders are needed.
Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with painting and cleaning as needed.
Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
