Job summary

Cambridge Management, Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and oversee repairs, make-readies, and preventive maintenance across the community.

Under direct supervision of the Community Manager, you will ensure safety per OSHA standards, manage service requests, coordinate vendors, and maintain the property's physical condition. Qualifications

• Must diagnose problems and make repairs in electrical, plumbing, exterior, and appliance areas.
• Experience in tub replacement and interior upgrade installation.
• Ability to perform daily work orders and apartment unit turns in a timely manner.
• Read, understand, and follow service requests; provide written responses.
• Ensure community standards and comply with applicable laws; strong communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; team player.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends; on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and schedule maintenance activities such as make-readies and service requests.
• Monitor service requests and emergencies; prioritize and expedite.
• Communicate assignments and monitor workload to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on appliances and equipment.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units; coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare safety audits and ensure PPE usage; identify hazardous conditions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budgeting; support grounds, pool, and inspections.
