Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Greenwood Village, CO to perform and oversee building, grounds, and common area upkeep. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety, quality, and timely responses to resident requests.

Responsibilities include make-ready preparation for lease-ready units, routine inspections, and coordination with vendors. The role supports budget targets and emphasizes Greystar standards and excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support the manager and respond to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with manager on supplies within budget.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance as outlined in policy.
• Assist Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS availability.
• Provide courteous, responsive customer service to residents and staff.
