Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare vacant homes for leasing. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, manage inventory, and document service requests.

The role includes grounds upkeep, safety compliance, and supporting cost-control initiatives. Typical duties include completing work orders, coordinating vendors, and ensuring facilities meet safety and quality standards across properties in Highlands Ranch.

Qualifications

• Experience handling work orders and preventative maintenance per safety codes.
• Ability to complete the make-ready process for vacant units.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate re-orders with the maintenance supervisor.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and complete tasks per policies and code requirements.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing, creating punch lists and coordinating vendors.
• Track materials, return unused items, and notify on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately.
• Assist in caring for grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
