Job summary

MMS Group is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for a 93-unit residential property in Cape Charles, VA. The role focuses on interior and exterior property maintenance, preventive programs, and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of residential multifamily maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of residential multifamily property management/apartment maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance maintenance, and boilers.
• Safe driving with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work orders: efficiently complete daily work orders.
• Communicate delays in completing work orders to supervisor.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry issues.
• Assist in scheduling annual apartment inspections and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Ensure turnover repairs and services are completed on schedule.
• Maintain records for preventative maintenance and contractor services.
