B.HOM Student Living in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician to handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turns while keeping properties safe and inviting for residents.

You'll diagnose HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, perform routine inspections, coordinate vendors, manage invoices, and deliver excellent customer service with a strong safety focus. On-call duties and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Inspect buildings and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Process invoices and maintenance documentation.
• Deliver excellent resident service and communication.
• Follow safety policies and regulations.
• Support after-hours on-call maintenance.
