Job summary

B.HOM Student Living in Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to requests and support upkeep of the community. You will perform preventive maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, well-maintained living environment.

The role requires basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, strong troubleshooting and customer service, and availability for after-hours/on-call.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance: Schedule, monitor, and perform activities.
• Unit turns: Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Emergency maintenance: Perform as required.
• Inspections & upkeep: Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for needs.
• Vendor & Operational Support: Coordinate vendors and contractors; assist with purchasing and invoices.
