Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and support the upkeep of the community. You will perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and respond to emergencies, ensuring safety and quality.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you inspect and maintain facilities, coordinate with vendors, and deliver excellent resident service. This on-site role requires flexibility for after-hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability for night, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and support overall upkeep of the community.
• Perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and emergency maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Submit invoices and maintenance documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
