Job summary

Vivmark Residential in San Ramon, CA seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team and uphold Equity standards. You will collaborate with Community and Property Managers to deliver timely repairs and market-ready apartments while controlling maintenance costs.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, plus experience in property management, the ability to troubleshoot, and a willingness to work weekends and after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required based on needs of the community.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required if operating a motorized vehicle.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills; ability to communicate in English for all work-related purposes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting.
• Ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends; respond to emergencies after hours; on-call responsibilities.
• Physical activities requiring lifting, bending, and moving materials up to 50 lbs; frequent use of hands and legs.
• Smartphone use for service tasks; password-protected and compliant with security systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure team adheres to Equity standards and handle resident service requests.
• Assist team with maintenance tasks and prepare market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property data and provide recommendations for financial concerns.
• Collaborate with Property Manager on capital improvements and oversee inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
