Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager in San Jose to lead a high-performing on-site team and uphold Equity standards. You will partner with the Community Manager, oversee maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests, and prepare status reports.

You will analyze financial performance, support capital improvements, and manage inventory. A strong plumbing/electrical/HVAC background is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and Type II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Equity standards and handle resident service requests.
• Assist the team with performing maintenance tasks and preparing market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property management data and provide recommendations for financial concerns.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager on capital improvements and overseeing inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and preparing status reports.
