Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing on-site team and ensure adherence to Equity standards while assisting with tasks as needed. You’ll analyze the property's financial performance and support scheduled maintenance, reporting regularly to management.

You should have hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC, plus knowledge of housing laws and a valid driver’s license. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• EPA Section 608 Type I/II or Universal certification within 90 days if required.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy and effective written and spoken English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC.
• Willingness to work weekends and after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Smartphone use required for certain job aspects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure team adheres to Equity standards and handles service requests promptly.
• Assist team with maintenance tasks and preparing market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property data and provide financial recommendations.
• Coordinate with Property Manager on capital improvements and inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
