Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team across property maintenance. You will work with the Community Manager to meet property objectives, ensure adherence to standards, and support tasks to maintain market-ready apartments.

The role requires hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC, with knowledge of housing laws and EPA certification timelines. A valid license and reliable transport are needed for on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal certification within 90 days if required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and respond to emergencies.
• Smartphone required for field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure team adheres to Equity standards and handle resident requests.
• Assist team with maintenance tasks and prepare market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property management system data and advise on financial concerns.
• Collaborate with Property Manager on capital improvements and inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
• Provide status reports to management.
