Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support property operations at our Los Angeles area communities. You will perform hands-on tasks across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, conduct maintenance checks, and assist with preparing market-ready apartments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• EPA 608 Type I and II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills; must communicate in English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and interior repairs and painting.
• Must be able to work weekends and respond to emergencies after hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Use of own smartphone for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure your team adheres to Equity standards and handles resident service requests promptly and safely.
• Assist your team with maintenance tasks and preparing market-ready apartments.
• Analyze property management system data and provide recommendations for financial concerns.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager on capital improvements and oversee inventory control.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
