Job summary

CYM Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at one of our residential communities. You will manage work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination, while ensuring safety and high standards for residents.

The role blends hands-on problem solving with team leadership, requiring clear communication with the Property Manager and regional leaders to drive reliable, on‑time upkeep and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage maintenance tasks and lead a team.
• Experience with work orders, preventive maintenance, and inspections.
• Strong communication and vendor coordination.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations including work orders, preventive maintenance, emergency calls, and general repairs.
• Assign, prioritize, and track maintenance requests to ensure timely completion.
• Perform hands-on repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, painting, and general building systems.
• Ensure unit turns are completed efficiently and according to standards.
• Maintain records of completed work, supplies, tools, and inventory.
• Conduct regular inspections of units, common areas, and systems.
• Identify issues early and address them to avoid costly problems.
• Lead and train maintenance team members for safety and quality.
• Oversee vendor work and coordinate with Property Manager on projects.
