Nest DC is seeking a Residential Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance requests and turnovers on-site in Washington, DC. You will coordinate with field technicians, turnover team, and home relationship managers to triage and track work orders to completion.

Qualifications

• Strong technology fluency across digital platforms and property management software.
• 2+ years in residential maintenance coordination, turnover logistics, or property operations.
• In-office presence in Bloomingdale, DC office (Mon-Fri 9:30 AM–5:30 PM EST).
• Ability to translate repair details into calm, reassuring messaging for owners and residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inbound maintenance requests in LeadSimple and AppFolio, balancing in-house and third-party vendors.
• Provide 24–48 hour updates to residents and owners on active work orders.
• Coordinate turnover scopes and estimates with the turnover team.
• Manage Preventative Maintenance (WellNest) dispatches and safety checks.
• Audit maintenance invoices and vendor charges for accuracy.
• Utilize PM software and AI tools to maintain documentation across the portfolio.
