Earning Housing Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a scattered-site residential portfolio in the Washington, DC area. You will perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for both occupied and vacant units, ensuring properties remain safe, functional, and inspection-ready.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, communicates well with residents, and takes ownership of work orders from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated communication skills with residents and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and carpentry.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on occupied and vacant units.
• Prepare units for occupancy and ensure inspection readiness.
