Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the primary contact for residents and prospects, delivering outstanding customer service and sales excellence. You will guide prospects to choose homes, support residents through occupancy, and work with management on day-to-day duties.

You will greet visitors, present the community, process applications, and convert leads into leases while maintaining market awareness and ensuring property readiness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Multi Family or related property management experience in rentals or hospitality may be relevant

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet prospective residents and create a personal connection while determining needs and preferences
• Professionally present the community and homes with features and benefits
• Complete lease applications and verify with prospective residents
• Convert leads into leases and follow up with non-leasing prospects
• Stay informed on rents, specials, and competing properties
• Answer calls and return voicemails from prospects and residents
• Enter data into information systems and prepare leasing reports
• Ensure offices and models are in impeccable condition
• Suggest promotional ideas and assist with social media as directed
• Assist move-ins with prep and welcome materials
• Know the surrounding neighborhood to share information with prospects
• Travel between communities if needed
• Complete all other duties as assigned
• Understand and support customer experience vision
• Communicate service guarantees to residents
• Address and resolve resident concerns promptly
• Support move-ins, renewals, moves, and transfers
• Contribute ideas to improve resident satisfaction
• Participate in monthly renewal outreach
• Handle service requests and ensure timely completion
• Inspect property when on site and report needs
• Embodies Mill Creek mission and brand in all actions
• Complete all new lease and renewal paperwork
• Attend trainings and keep daily activity reports updated
• Post ads daily to generate traffic
• Aim for a 25% conversion of tours to leases
• Adhere to company policies and housing regulations
