Job summary

Grafton Integrated Health Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Children’s Services program in Richmond, VA. The Residential Instructor role provides direct care, supervision, and crisis management for youth in a structured setting, following treatment plans and collaborating with the treatment team.

The position requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to document progress, support education goals, and maintain a safe, respectful environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Moderate computer skills: log-in, browse the web, create and save documents.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Education requirements listed: GED, HS diploma, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, safety and crisis management for clients.
• Document client behavior and participation in programming.
• Follow treatment plans (Plan, IEP, ISP) for assigned clients.
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to ensure continuity of care.
• Promote behavioral goals and teach alternative behaviors.
