Blue Collar Services is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer in the Greater Hartford area to manage residential system replacements and installations from start to finish. The role requires active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 license and EPA 608 certification, with strong installation experience and the ability to troubleshoot and work well in a team environment.

• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Strong residential HVAC installation experience required.
• Experience with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, controls, and system startups preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install furnaces, air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, air handlers, controls, and related equipment.
• Complete residential HVAC system replacements.
• Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot installation and performance issues.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners.
• Complete installation documentation accurately.
• Help reduce callbacks through quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Support and mentor apprentices or junior installers as the team grows.

What You’ll Do

As a Residential HVAC Installer, you will handle residential system replacements and installations from start to finish.
