Clean Climate HVAC in Connecticut seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to install heating, cooling and ventilation systems in homes and light commercial spaces. You will handle start-ups, testing, and calibrations with attention to code compliance and quality.

Qualifications

2+ years of HVAC installation experience (must)
EPA 608 Certification Type II or Universal (must)
Driver's license with clean driving record (must)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics (must)
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (must)
Basic electrical and refrigerant knowledge (must)
Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs (must)
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops (must)

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and ventilation systems
Connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, ductwork, and controls per manufacturer specs and code
Perform start-ups, testing, and adjustments for proper system operation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with customers and team members on installation details
Ensure all installations pass local code inspections and meet company quality standards
Complete required documentation and system start-up forms in ServiceTitan
Assist in training apprentices and support other technicians when needed
