Job summary
Blue Collar Services is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer in the Greater Hartford area. This full-time role offers a clear path to leadership with strong earning potential and a signing bonus.
You will handle residential system replacements and installations end-to-end, work with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and controls, and mentor junior installers as the team grows. Connecticut license required.
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 HVAC Journeyperson License.
- EPA Section 608 certification.
- Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
- Experience with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, controls, and system startups.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Install furnaces, air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, controls, and related equipment.
- Complete residential HVAC system replacements.
- Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot installation and performance issues.
- Ensure all work meets code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Complete installation documentation accurately.
- Help reduce callbacks through quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Support and mentor apprentices or junior installers as the team grows.
