Blue Collar Services in the Greater Hartford area is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment across the region.

The role requires an active Connecticut S-2 license, EPA certification, and solid residential HVAC experience. Expect strong earning potential, a company-provided vehicle, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Previous residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience servicing heating and air-conditioning equipment.
• Knowledge of heat pumps, controls, electrical systems, airflow, and refrigeration.
• Ability to work independently in a residential service environment.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential heating and cooling system problems.
• Service and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues.
• Perform refrigeration diagnostics and repairs.
• Identify and correct airflow and comfort problems.

What You'll Do

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment throughout the Greater Hartford area.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose residential heating and cooling system problems
• Service and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues

What You Need

Required Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Previous residential HVAC service experience
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing heating and air-conditioning equipment
• Knowledge of heat pumps, controls, electrical systems, airflow, and refrigeration
