Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is seeking a Home Improvement Program Project Manager to oversee owner-occupied repair projects from start to finish. You will manage scopes, bids, subcontractors, and budgets while ensuring on-time delivery and quality that meets Habitat Omaha standards.

You will lead contractor relationships and oversee billing, inspections, and documentation. This role requires travel to project sites and a commitment to Habitat’s mission of safe, affordable housing.

Qualifications

• Education in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of residential construction field experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating projects, vendors, contractors, or construction activities is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial site visits with homeowners to assess repair needs and document conditions.
• Develop project scopes and coordinate repair activities from initiation through completion.
• Manage multiple home repair projects with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction activities through the project lifecycle.
• Conduct post-project inspections to ensure work meets requirements and Habitat Omaha standards.
• Assist homeowners in navigating repair projects related to insurance claims when needed.
