Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia is seeking a Home Repair Project Manager to lead on-site repairs from start to finish, manage pricing, subcontractors, materials, and ensure safety compliance in Arlington, VA.

You will work closely with the Preservation & Repair Manager and engage volunteers to expand program impact, maintain records, and ensure regulatory adherence and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in community development or affordable housing.
• 3-5 years of experience in residential building repair and neighborhood rehab programs is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with handling multiple projects where detail orientation is critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage home repair construction work by leading on-site projects from start to finish, including pricing and subcontractor management.
• Acquire appropriate permits and verify regulatory compliance; ensure safety regulations are met.
• Coordinate with volunteer services manager and schedule volunteer labor as needed.
• Maintain equipment/inventory levels and manage gift-in-kind donations.
