Habitat Omaha seeks a Home Improvement Program Project Manager to oversee owner-occupied repair projects from scope to closeout, manage budgets, and coordinate a contractor pool to deliver safe, quality repairs.

You will conduct site visits, develop scopes, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining strong homeowner communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Education in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of residential construction field experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating projects, vendors, contractors, or construction activities is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial site visits with homeowners to assess repair needs, identify project priorities, and document project conditions.
• Develop project scopes and coordinate repair activities from project initiation through completion.
• Manage multiple home repair projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct post-project inspections to ensure work is completed according to project requirements and Habitat Omaha standards.
• Assist Habitat homeowners in navigating repair projects related to insurance claims when needed.
