Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is seeking a Senior Construction Supervisor to lead field teams and oversee the construction of residential homes. The role focuses on safety, quality, and on-time completion while mentoring staff and volunteers.

You will coordinate with leadership, manage schedules and resources, and uphold HFHO standards on every jobsite from foundation to finish, in outdoor environments with varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of residential construction experience.
• Experience training, mentoring, and developing others.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
• Basic computer proficiency with construction-related technology and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two or more active residential construction projects, manage schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Lead, train, and mentor construction staff, volunteers, and subcontractors.
• Promote and model safety practices and OSHA standards on every jobsite.
• Ensure compliance with Habitat Omaha standards, plans, codes and best practices.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and resources to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain organized, safe, and well-documented jobsites.
