Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a full-time, on-site role in a residential setting.

You will supervise and support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and community integration while maintaining safety and compassion. The position emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and commitment to person-centered care, with paid training and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred.
• MAP certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and daily car use.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Direct Support Professionals during shifts and ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain ISP records and behavior data sheets.
• Deliver medications and document administration.
• Support residents’ daily living activities and community integration.
• Coordinate with families and external agencies for comprehensive care.
• Attend annual/semi-annual reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
