Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. seeks a full-time Shift Supervisor to oversee residents in an adult residential setting, supervising Direct Support Professionals and ensuring daily activities promote independence and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with families and external agencies, and adherence to ISP and safety protocols, with paid training and a competitive hourly wage and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred or one year of experience in human services.
• MAP certification must be maintained; MAP certification obtained within 3 months of hire.
• 21+ years old with high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and daily use of a car (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts.
• Implement ISPs, behavior plans, and assessments aligned with resident needs.
• Ensure medications are delivered and documented.
• Coordinate with families, guardians, and external agencies for care.
• Oversee safety checks, fire drills, and DDS compliance.
