Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals and supervise residents in an adult residential setting. The role emphasizes implementing ISPs, leading daily schedules, and promoting independence and community integration.

The position offers paid training, a sign-on bonus, and an hourly wage of $19.00–$20.50. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires compassion, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred or one year of experience in human services.
• Must maintain MAP certification; obtain MAP certification within 3 months of hire.
• 21+ with high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and daily use of a car (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts and ensure communication of daily plans.
• Implement ISP programs, behavior plans, and data documentation.
• Deliver and document medications.
• Coordinate with families and external agencies for comprehensive care.
• Assist with resident activities, meal planning, shopping and personal care.
• Maintain safety checks and ensure DDS compliance.
• Lead leisure activities and support resident development.
