Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Porter/Gatekeeper to maintain the property's common areas, indoors and outdoors, and assist with general maintenance as needed. The role focuses on cleanliness, safety, and service to residents in a collegiate environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of lawn/grounds maintenance experience, be able to read instructions, document labor, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of experience in lawn/grounds maintenance.
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials.
• Record of punctuality and dependability with deadlines and after-hours availability.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property condition per SOP, OSHA and standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain assets and features.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas.
• Sweep and clean curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairs.
• Maintain and repair stair treads and exterior lighting.
• Mow lawns, trim beds, rake leaves, and manage landscaping.
• Apply weed control, seed and water as needed; plant seasonal landscaping.
• Maintain irrigation systems and fountains; service pool equipment.
• Know emergency procedures and promote safety around residents.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance.
