Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper to provide care and maintenance of a residential property's common areas. You will be responsible for cleaning, upkeep, and assisting with maintenance tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, one year of lawn/grounds experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. This role requires reliability, stamina, and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school/GED diploma and 1 year of lawn/grounds maintenance experience.
• Able to read instructions and document labor and materials.
• Punctuality and dependability with deadlines; after-hours and weekend availability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and adjacent features.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas on an ongoing basis.
• Sweep and clear debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways as scheduled.
• Maintain and repair loose stairwell treads and exterior lighting.
• Mow lawns, trim beds, rake leaves and manage landscaped areas.
• Apply weed control and seed as needed; water areas.
• Install seasonal plantings, shrubs, trees, decorative rock and water features.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs; maintain irrigation and fountains.
• Clean pool/spa per specs; service pool equipment as directed.
• Know emergency procedures and shutoff valves;
• Promote safety to limit property loss or injuries to residents and visitors.
• Keep drainage grills clear; pressure-wash sidewalks and pool decks.
• Assist in snow removal; undertake training related to duties.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.
